Work Experience:

My name is Charly Youn, and I am a second-year veteran scholar at the University of Chicago with a strong interest in investment banking. I am a five-year US Army veteran with three deployments under my belt, including Lithuania, Germany, and South Korea. I developed my interest in investment banking after working at Guggenheim Partners this past summer, and I hope to pursue my interest. I believe my strongest strength lies in my perseverance and adherence to my values: loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage. Despite facing significant challenges in the rigorous academic setting of the University of Chicago, I am steadily gaining a stronger grasp of the academic demands and feeling more confident in my studies.
