I am a Marine Corps officer with a wealth of experience in operational and strategic planning, execution, and risk management both in the United States and abroad. My formal educaiton has been in engineering and mathematics, to include a master in Operations Research. I have also studied decision-making and planning earning a second masters' degree. I started my career as an aviator, and then moved into planning roles, managing teams at all levels up to and including the C-suite and national levels. Currently I am assigned to the National Airbonrne Operations Center, where I function as the Chief Risk Officer to the national command authority in a crisis. I am looking to transition into finance in the summer of 2023, and have been taking courses to prepare, incuding passing the SIE, part one of the FRM, PMP, and I am currently enrolled in a financial modelling course.
